Olympic Lifting

CrossFit Pride NOW offers Olympic Lifting classes as part of your membership.

These 1 hour Olympic Lifting classes focus solely on Clean & Jerk and Snatch movements so that you can begin to understand the science behind the lifts and start building your confidence and skill level.

We will be practicing technique for the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.  Flexibility and the ability to get into the correct lifting positions is key to success and this will be the first thing we will work on.  It will take a couple of sessions to see where each athlete is at in terms of flexibility and technique.  As we learn the needs of each athlete, we will tailor advice to suit your needs.

This class is ran by USAW and CrossFit certified Coach Jeff Dereus. Attend Oly class on a regular basis – you’ll be amazed at how quickly your form will improve and with time, how much weight you’ll be able to lift. 

These classes are open to all levels.
